Common questions

Frequently asked questions about our products

Can I use your candles outdoors?

We do not advise. Our candles are made from vegetable wax, which has a lower melting point than paraffin. This means that they end up melting when exposed to higher temperatures (mainly summer). While on very cold days (winter especially) the wax has a strong chance of cracking.

How can I prevent my candle from forming a tunnel?

With all our orders we send a card with our usage advice. It is very important that the first time you start burning your candle, you let it burn to the edges of the glass (up to a maximum of 4 hours in a row). A fun fact about candles is that they have memory , which means that if you don't let the candle burn to the edges of the glass, the next time it burns it will do the same process, leading to the creation of a wax tunnel.

Why doesn't my candle have a regular surface ?

Candles made from vegetable wax can create irregularities on the surface of the candle after burning, making it appear rough after it hardens. This is normal in vegetable wax-based candles and does not prevent good burning the next time. The cup may also detach on very cold days.

Is it possible to know the smell intensity of each fragrance?

All of our products have the intensity of their smell in their description. Depending on the notes that make up the fragrances, they end up releasing the smell with more or less intensity. In order for our customers to be able to make a better choice taking into account their personal tastes, we found it necessary to create 3 scent intensities: soft, moderate and intense.

How long do your products last?

In the description of our products you can find their average duration. However, we would like to point out that this duration may vary considerably depending on where the products are used. If you place a candle near air passages, it will end up being consumed faster. The same happens with our diffusers.

The 140g candles last an average of 26 hours

The 220g candles last an average of 53h

If you use our instructions for use that accompany our orders in paper/cardboard format, it is expected that the life of your products will reach the average hours of use mentioned.

Are your wooden or cork lids purchased separately?

Yes. We know that not all customers who order candles from us are in the habit of using lids. Our brand wants to create more sustainable habits, so we leave it up to our customers to purchase our lids made from Wood or Cork. These are available to purchase for just €2 each.
